The latest streaming service is being offered by Time Warner‘s (NYSE:TWX) Warner Bros. Called Warner Acrhive Instant, users will pay $9.99 a month to receive access to the studio’s catalog of movies, reaching as far back as the 1920′s, Bloomberg notes.
Included in Warner Archive Instant’s offerings is exclusive access to a number of film and TV titles not covered under the studio’s current streaming deals with Netflix or Redbox Instant, a joint venture between Coinstar (NASDAQ:CSTR) and Verizon (NYSE:VZ), which officially launched last month.
The service is offering a free two-week trial. Certain film and TV titles will be available in high-definition for those using Roku’s video streaming devices.
Shares of Time Warner climbed more than 1% in Wednesday morning trading.
