Worst Company in America: The Final Four
Electronic Arts could repeat in The Consumerist's contest
The tournament for the worst company in America is down to four competitors.
One of the contests — which is run by The Consumerist and voted on by the online public — will feature Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) facing down Live Nation‘s (NYSE:LYV) Ticketmaster.
Electronic Arts is in a position to be a repeat winner. In 2012, the company won — or lost, depending on how you look at this — based on its support for the Software Online Privacy Act and other game-related issues. EA beat out Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE:BUD) to make it to the finals.
The other bracket has 2011 winner Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) against Bank of America (NYSE:BAC). Comcast beat out competitor Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) for a spot in the final four.
Winners from the final four will be announced today.
