Sustainability just became more affordable.
Automotive News reports that Honda (HMC) is lowering the lease price for its Fit EV, in response to similar price cuts from competitors. The Fit EV will drop $130 per month — from $389 to $259 with no down payment. In comparison, Nissan has steadily lowered the lease rate for the Nissan Leaf from $349 to its current price of $199 with a $1,999 down payment.
Honda is planning to expand the number of Fit EV dealers to 200 showrooms — more than five times the current number — by the end of June.
