News Corp Unveils Friendlier-Looking Logo

 News Corp Unveils Friendlier Looking Logo[1]News Corp (NWSA[2]) unveiled a new logo for its soon-to-be spun-off publishing division.

The company announced the logo yesterday at a meeting with shareholders, reports the Associated Press[3]. Back in June, News Corp announced that it would spin off its struggling publishing division from the rest of its entertainment business.

Rupert Murdoch’s handwriting was the inspiration for the new logo. Murdoch founded the company in Australia in 1979 before bringing it to the U.S. in 2004.

NWSA is up 29% YTD.
