Japanese celebrity chef Miki Nozawa died on Monday, allegedly at the hands of two disgruntled diners.
The chef was working in Sylt, Germany where two unsatisfied customers allegedly started a dispute over a dish, reports the Australian Associated Press. According to a local newspaper, the two men demanded their money back before leaving the restaurant. The dispute intensified when the three men crossed paths at a table-dance bar later that night.
The two suspects were detained, but eventually released due to lack of evidence. Nozawa died in the ICU of a local hospital. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
