Singer and actress Mary J. Blige is facing a massive new bill, courtesy of the Internal Revenue Service.
The IRS says she owes $3.4 million in back taxes and penalties. The agency alleges that she didn’t bother paying income taxes for 2009, 2010 and 2011. In all, the government is insisting she pay $3,426,255.43, TMZ notes.
But the IRS isn’t the only one claiming that the Grammy Award-winner owes them cash. Blige is facing a $901,769.65 tax lien from the state of New Jersey.
She is also being sued after failing to repay a $2.2 million loan.
