800px-DunkinDonutsTruckWith food sensitivity on the rise among consumers, it seems that event the most unlikely places are looking to offer gluten-free products.

On Wednesday, Dunkin’ Donuts (DNKN) announced that it will introduce gluten-free cinnamon-sugar donuts and blueberry muffins later this year. The move is meant to boost menu options for customers facing dietary restrictions, CNN notes.

A protein found in rye, barley and wheat, gluten can produce uncomfortable reactions in people who are sensitive to it. Sufferers of celiac disease can experience severe reactions to even small amounts of gluten.

Dunkin’ Donuts joins a number of other restaurant chains that offer gluten-free menu items, including Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) and Domino’s Pizza (DPZ).

The company began testing gluten-free products in Boston and Miami late last year.

Shares of Dunkin’ fell more than 1% Thursday morning trading in a downward-trending market.
