Not So Fast … Porn Apps Now Banned on Google Glass

Google Glass just got a little less sexy.

In a swift reactionary move this week, Google (GOOG[1]) updated its developer policies[2] for Glass, banning sexually explicit apps. The response came after developer MiKandi announced the first pornographic application[3] for Google’s futuristic headwear.

Disappointed MiKandi supporters can still access the app via Google+, but Google is adamant about keeping such content off Glass. Public reaction to the device has already been shaky, due largely to a long list of privacy concerns[4]. And after MiKandi announced its intentions to create content on Google Glass as well as for it, the public outcry grew louder.

Google Glass is expected to release next year.
