General Motor’s (GM) has taken the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to Europe, where it will put the car through the company’s standard quality control program.
The vehicle will be driven by GM’s technical experts as it travels through France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland in the next few months, reports Auto World News.
“Corvette is one of the famed names in automotive history and the new Stingray is the most advanced and capable standard model yet,”Patrick Hermann, the technical manager for Chevrolet Europe, told Auto World News. “Driving and testing this car is definitely one of the most interesting aspects of my job.”
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be marketed toward people who have driven other luxury sports cars such as Ferrari and Porsche, reports Auto World News.
Forbes lists the new Stingray as its number one hottest new car for 2014.
