Google (GOOG)went offline for a short period of time Wednesday morning.
Reports from users being unable to use Google and its various services started around 9:30 a.m. ET and lasted for a little over an hour.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users there,” Google said in a statement to CNN.
Services that were affected included Gmail, Google Plus, Google Drive and YouTube, reports CNN.
The event even prompted Paste to list its favorite #googledown tweets such as “Day 1. We have begun hoarding provisions as the office splinters into factions. Hostilities imminent. Morale low,” and “Heard google was down. Sadly I tried to google what happened.”
