Yahoo (YHOO) CEO Marissa Mayer is giving Yahoo employees another job perk.
Mayer is giving over 11,000 Up fitness bands to Yahoo employees.
The Up fitness bands are produced by Jawbone (a startup that Mayer is a board member of), and track movement, sleep patterns and other data that can be shared with a groups of friends, reports All Things Digital.
Users of the Up fitness bands can also connect the device with other fitness apps such as RunKeeper, Withings smart scale and MyFitnessPal, reports Business Insider.
It is unclear if Mayer is paying for the bands herself, or if Yahoo is covering the bill. The gift to employees comes during Mayer’s one-year anniversary with the company, reports All Things Digital.
