jail Princess Arrested in Calif. for Human Trafficking ReleasedMeshael Alayban, the Saudi princess that was arrested for alleged human trafficking Wednesday, has been released from jail today.

Alayban, who is the wife of Saudi Arabian Prince Abdulrahman bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz al Saud, was released after posting a $5 million bail, but she is restricted to travel in California, must surrender her passport and wear a GPS tracking device, reports ABC News.

Alayban was arrested after a woman from Kenya, who worked as a maid for Alayban contacted police on Tuesday, reports ABC News.

“It’s been 150 years since the Emancipation Proclamation, and slavery has been unlawful in the United States, and certainly in California, all this time, and it’s disappointing to see it in use here,” Tony Rackauckas, Orange County District Attorney, told The Washington Post.

Police searched Alayban’s condo after the call and found four women from the Philippines who left voluntarily with the police, reports The Washington Post.
