Ebay (EBAY) may have gained its youngest bidder when 14-month old Sorella Stoute bought a car.
The toddler opened the eBay app on her father’s phone and purchased a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite for $225, reports KOIN 6 News.
“She decided to open the eBay app, and started clicking around and one thing led to another and we own a car,” Paul Stoute, father of Sorella, told KOIN 6 News.
The family decided to keep the car, as Paul Stout intends to restore it and give it to his daughter for her 16th birthday or high school graduation.
The family has added extra security to their phones, and have removed any apps that allowing purchasing to prevent something similar from happening in the future, reports FOX 12.
