The role of Facebook’s CMO belongs to Gary Briggs, who was the VP of consumer marketing at Google, CMO of eBay North America, worked for six years in consumer marketing at PepsiCo and was most recently the chief marketer at Motorola Mobility. Briggs is replacing Eric Antonow, VP of product marketing, who has handled Facebook advertising since 2010. Antonow will stay with Facebook until the transition is complete and will leave the company in September to pursue a project related to education. Briggs will report to Chris Cox,VP of product, reports AdAge.
