A Florida chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity was suspended by Florida International University after someone leaked screen shots of the frat using Facebook (FB) to sell drugs and post naked pictures of female students without their consent.
The since-deleted page of the Florida frat showed brothers asking for and selling Adderall and other “study drugs,” with cocaine and marijuana also mentioned.
Photos of naked women are posted, with fraternity members bragging about their conquests — with some perhaps underage.
“i think she was 17 at the time of the titi pics LOL,” one comment reads posted with a photo captioned “for all of you who haven’t seen [redacted]‘s tits, thank Gabe.”
The university released a statement about the allegations:
“Earlier this week, the University was made aware of Facebook postings which appear to be linked to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity Kappa Gamma chapter and members of the fraternity,” an FIU spokeswoman said. “The university is taking this information very seriously because it suggests possible Student Code of Conduct violations. The university took prompt action and placed the fraternity on interim suspension pending the outcome of investigations by appropriate university departments, including the police.”
