Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) is having an emergency room named after them thanks to the company’s $10 million donation to Ohio State University.
Mediabistro reports that Ohio State University is honoring the Ohio-based company by naming its emergency center the Abercrombie & Fitch Emergency Department. This is the second ER named after the company — Nationwide Children’s Hospital named its emergency center after the retailer in 2006 following a $10 million donation.
Although Abercrombie & Fitch has donated millions of dollars to ensure the health of Ohio residents, the retailer has received much criticism within the last couple of months after saying that its clothes are only fit for cool and attractive people. As a result of these statements, the company’s popularity and value has been suffering a steady decline over that period.
