If you were worried that you didn’t have enough things to worry about, the Centers for Disease Control has some new information to further darken your day.
The CDC has debuted a new system to highlight the threat from drug resistant diseases. The new system ranks so-called superbugs by their the number of people they sicken, hospitalize and kill, CNN notes.
Superbugs are germs that have developed resistance to the antibiotics that doctors have been using to combat disease for decades.

According to CDC estimates, drug-resistent bugs infect 2 million people every year. About 23,000 of those are killed by the diseases.
