Lost Wallet Test: The Most & Least Honest Cities

Study shows Helsinki is the most honest city

   

A social experiment was conducted recently to learn what the most and least honest cities in the world are.

The Huffington Post reports that 12 wallets were dropped in 16 different cities all over the world to determine how honest they are by how many were returned in each city. Helsinki — capital of Finland — was the most honest city in the experiment as 11 of the 12 wallets were returned. Each wallet contained a name, a phone number, a family photo and $50.

The next most honest cities were New York City and Budapest, Hungary were people returned eight of the wallets. The least honest city was Lisbon, Portugal where only one of the 12 wallets was returned.
