A man was crushed by a 30-ton rock in Arizona and somehow survived, sustaining injuries on his legs and pelvis.
USA Today reports that the 27-year-old Phoenix man was trying to move a boulder out of the road along with other workers before the 30-ton rock slid down and fell on him. The room-sized stone did not hit any of the other four workers and they called for help right away according to the Coconino County’s Sheriff’s Office.
The area received heavy rain which caused the boulder to slide and crush the man. He was hospitalized after being injured on the pelvis and legs.
