Man Wants $30M for His Modified 1975 Chevy Nova

A car with scenes of 9/11 airbrushed all over the exterior is being sold for $30 million by owner Richard Lopez.

Hemmings reports that Lopez made his 1975 Chevrolet Nova into a work of art with murals of scenes surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Lopez is calling the car “9/11 Memorial on Wheels” and he’s looking to sell a car that’s worth around $9,000 for $30 million due to the artwork. The artists responsible for painting the car are Fred Spargo, Jaime Rodriguez, Paul Collins and Nancy Garcia.

Lopez said that the Nova is priceless because it holds a unique place in American history. He added that it’s our mission to remember those who died on 9/11 and this vehicle is meant to honor the fallen ones.
