Miley Cyrus’ Racy Music Video Breaks Online Pageview Records

Miley Cyrus is making headlines once again thanks to her new video ‘Wrecking Ball’ which has just broken the record for most views in 24 hours.

USA Today reports that the pop star’s music video[1] was seen over 15 million times in 24 hours, breaking Vevo’s record for most views over that span. The video shows Cyrus taking down a construction site with a hammer and occasionally swinging on a wrecking ball naked.

The former Hannah Montana star is releasing a one-hour documentary about her transition from a child actor to an independent young woman whose skills include singing, twerking and waving around a foam finger. The film will be called Miley: The Movement and it is scheduled for an Oct. 1 release on MTV.

The singer’s new album Bangerz which contains the tracks ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘We Can’t Stop will be released on Oct. 8
