Sofia Vergara, star of ABC’s Modern Family, is the highest-paid TV actress for the second year in a row.
Vergara claimed the 54th spot on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list. She made $30 million from June 2012 to June 2013. The list compiled by Forbes takes into account for cash and contract projects that were completed during this time, which includes TV series, licensing and advertisements. Vergara’s position as the highest-paid TV actress is helped by her own brand of clothes, home goods and shapewear carried by Sears Holdings’ (SHLD) subsidiary Kmart, reports Forbes.
The second highest-paid TV actress on Forbes Celebrity 100 list is shared by two actresses: Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’s Mariska Hargitay and Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, who both pulled in $11 million. The spot for the third highest-paid TV actress was shared by four different woman: Mike & Molly’s Melissa McCarthy, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian, who all earned $10 million.
