However, the spread of LTE/4G wireless networks around the world hasn’t been as fast as the technology itself.¬†Still, some countries are making greater headway that others in expanding LTE/4G coverage, Bloomberg notes.

Here are the five countries with the highest percentage of LTE/4G subscribers per capita[3], according to Bloomberg.

  1. South Korea — 62%
  2. Japan — 21.3%
  3. Australia — 21.1%
  4. United States — 19%
  5. Sweden¬† — 14%
