The Naked Haunted House Is a Real Thing

An exhilarating new haunted house is opening its doors this upcoming Halloween in Sinking Spring, Pa.

ABC News reports that the Naked and Scared Challenge is a naked haunted house that will be part of Shocktoberfest. The event invites visitors to take their clothes off once inside the house and take the tour in the nude. Only those over the age of 18 are allowed to take place in the unique new thrill.

President and owner of Shocktoberfest Patrick Konopelski said that he came up with the idea for the challenge after he saw his children watching the Discovery channel show Naked and Afraid. He added that the show is about being naked and vulnerable and sexuality has nothing to do with it. The haunted house will take place under dimmed lighting and it will have 12 security guards in the premises to ensure everything stays under control.

The event opens Friday and participants need to reserve their $20 tickets for the event online beforehand. They can choose to sign up as a ‘prude’ or a ‘nude’ where visitors can either strip down to their underwear or take everything of respectively.  Participants must also sign a waiver to be part of the naked haunted house.
