Facebook (FB) dominates the online social media world, claiming more than 1 billion users.
Now, the Internet giant could be on the verge of conquering ice cream. The co-owner of a Croatian ice cream shop was inspired to create a Facebook ice cream flavor after seeing how addicted his teenaged daughter was to the popular website, psfk notes.
The recipe for Facebook ice cream is surprisingly simple. Blue syrup is missed with vanilla ice cream. Add a little sign bearing the company’s logo, and the item is complete.
Described as tasting like a combination of chewing gum and candy, the shop hasn’t procured trademark permission from Facebook.
Social media fans can purchase Facebook ice cream for 1 euro a serving — if they journey to Tisno, Croatia.
Last month, it was reported that a new breed of lending startups in emerging markets were assessing borrowers credit-worthiness based on their Facebook friends.
