3 Media Stocks to Sell Now

The stock price has fallen 6.6% over the past month, worse than the 1.3% decrease the Nasdaq has seen over the same period of time. This week, CTC Media, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTCM[4]) drops from a C to a D rating. CTC Media is an independent media company that operates three Russian television networks. In Earnings Growth, Earnings Momentum, Earnings Surprise, and Margin Growth the stock gets F’s. The volume of trades has dropped off significantly in the past week, down to half the previous rate. Digital Generation, Inc. (NASDAQ:DGIT[6]) ratings are on the decline this week as the company earns an F (“strong sell”). Last week, it received a D (“sell”). DG FastChannel provides digital technology services that allow the electronic delivery of advertisements, syndicated programs, and video news releases to traditional broadcasters, online publishers and other media outlets. The stock receives F’s in Earnings Momentum, Earnings Revisions, and Equity. Cash Flow and Margin Growth also get F’s. As of Oct. 7, 2013, 15.3% of outstanding Digital Generation, Inc. shares were held short. In the past week, trade volume fell significantly to half the previous rate.
