ABC’s ‘Lucky 7′ Is Fall TV’s First Cancellation

Lucky 7 is the first show of the fall TV season to be cancelled after being in the air for only two episodes.

Entertainment Weekly reports that ABC is getting rid of Lucky 7 after only 12 days due to poor ratings. The drama premiered to 4.4 million viewers and a weak 1.3 adults 18-49 rating before plummeting to a dismal 0.7 rating on the second episode. The show was ABC’s lowest-rated drama premiere in a long time and it was chosen by many critics as the first show to get the axe in the fall season.

TV viewers were not the only ones who hated the show as Lucky 7 was also panned by critics. The show was a remake of a British TV show and it followed seven people who live in Queens, N.Y. and split a $45 million lottery. The show then examined the hardships that these people endured after becoming millionaires.
