The ‘blue screen of death’ is the worst nightmare of Windows (MSFT) PC users and it appears that the bug has made an appearance on several Apple (AAPL) phones.

CNET reports that iPhone 5S users have reported that their smartphones are getting a blue screen and then restarting when using certain apps. Most people say that the bug happens when using Apple’s iWork suite, a free iPhone application that comes with the phone. There have also been reports of the new blue screen of death showing up to people using the ESPN ScoreCenter App.

Apple has yet to comment on the bug but some users have found that disabling iCloud syncing for the iWork suite has fixed the problem for them.
