Chili’s Grill & Bar (EAT) is coming out with a new delivery service that will be active in about a quarter of its locations by the end of November.
Nation’s Restaurant News reports that 450 of the restaurant’s locations will have the delivery service after testing it briefly. Wyman Roberts — CEO and president of Chili’s — said that they are “offering guests speed, convenience and value with a new delivery service… What we have already identified is that it’s not necessarily appropriate for every restaurant we own, but we have filters that we feel very comfortable with to identify where the demand is and where we can provide a service that’s going to be appreciated.”
Chili’s shares are up 1.46% as of Thursday afternoon and the company reported a 4.9% rise in net income during the year’s third quarter that ended on Sept. 25.
