Cruella de Vil may have gotten arrested after trying to make fur coats in 101 Dalmatians but she is making a comeback in the big screen.
Fox News reports that the villainess will be starring in the 2014 Disney (DIS) film Maleficent. Cruella was introduced to the world in Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians and once again in the 1996 adaptation of the film. The movie character was voiced by Glenn Close who will be one of the producers of Maleficent.
The screenplay was written by The Devil Wears Prada screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna and it’s being directed by visual effects guru Robert Stromberg.
