Dunkin’ Donuts (DNKN) is honoring its biggest fans in its new ads which feature fans that had something positive to say about the company on Twitter.
Adweek reports that the company’s marketing chief — John Costello — talked about two upcoming ads during the ANA Masters of Marketing confab in Phoenix. Costello said that two new Dunkin’ Donuts ads will be coming out on Oct. 14 and each ad features two customers who spoke highly of the company’s products via Twitter.
The effort was part of the company’s #MyDunkin promotion where the company went through thousands of tweets before choosing the two winners. Costello said that digital marketing is growing faster than traditional forms of marketing so Dunkin’ Donuts has been very active on social media.
