Outerwall’s (OUTR) Redbox video rental kiosk can now be accessed without having to leave your couch much like other video streaming services.
Ubergizmo reports that the streaming service has partnered up with Sony (SNE) to bring BluRay video streaming to the PlayStation 3. The Redbox Instant Application will be available on the video game console later today when the PlayStation Store is updated.
This video streaming service will give users the freedom to watch thousands of movies in BluRay quality by creating a Redbox account. You can sign up for a free, 30-day trial to watch video and pay $8 a month after that if you like the service.
