New Yorkers who want to enjoy tea and snacks will soon have a new destination at which to immerse themselves in tea culture.
On Thursday, Starbuck’s (SBUX) will launch Teavana Fine Teas + Teavan Tee Bar in Manhattan. The shop will sell specialty teas like Spiced Mandarin Oolong tea and a Pineapple Kona Pop + Blueberry Bliss iced tea, as week as salads, flatbreads and sweets, the Associated Press notes.
Drinks at the new tea bar will be priced between $3 and $6. Foods will range from $3 to $15 a plate.
Starbucks acquired Teavana last year for about $620 million. The tea shop operator has about 300 locations across the country, compared to about 11,000 U.S. Starbucks shops.
Shares of Starbucks fell almost 1% in Wednesday morning trading.
