A man who police say groped an Arby’s drive-thru employee then sped off was arrested after police followed a trail of curly fries that he left behind.
Police in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania were called to the Arby’s after the incident, with the alleged victim telling police she was “manhandled” by a male driver when she handed him his order.
Police say a witness said he appeared drunk at the time.
A description of the man’s Toyota 4Runner led police to a nearby Travel Lodge, at which point officers spotted “a trail of Arby’s curly fries and sauce” that led from the vehicle, through the motel’s hallway, and up to the suspect’s room.
The man, 36-year-old James Cowan of Fitzgerald, Georgia, was arrested by police without incident.
He was charged with indecent assault and released on bail.
