Walmart (WMT) has a new offer for Apple (AAPL) iPad users that allows them to trade in their old devices for new ones.
CNN reports that in any of Walmart’s 3,600 locations around the country, customers can bring in their tablets for store credit and get the newest model. Shoppers can get up to $300 for their iPads depending on the model and condition of the device. The trade-in plan starts on Wednesday and Walmart will start selling the new iPad Air on Nov. 1 for $479. The new iPad mini will cost $399 as soon as soon as Apple makes it available to the public.
Walmart is also making old iPad models available at a discount price. The 16 GB iPad is being sold $449 now and the 16GB iPad mini Wi-Fi will be dropped to $299 from $329.
