In celebration of Thanksgivukkah, Asher Weintraub came up with an idea that will please those who are looking to celebrate both holidays.
The 10-year-old boy came up with the idea of the ‘menurkey’ after his parents told him that Thanksgiving and Hanukkah will fall on the same day this year, according to ABC News. Asher’s Thanksgivukkah invention is a menorah shaped like a turkey with candles coming of its feathers.
Asher learned how to use 3D printers last year and he told his parents about his revolutionary idea. They supported him and introduced him to Kickstarter, a website where people can raise money for a cause. The goal to produce menurkeys was at $25,000 but they got more than twice that amount in a few weeks.
The young boy is planning on donating menurkey proceeds to charity and eventually buy his own 3D printer.
