Short-sleeve NBA jerseys will soon be available for basketball fans who want to wear official merchandise but aren’t big fans of tank tops.
Adidas and the NBA have teamed up to release jerseys with short sleeves for the 10 teams that will be playing on Dec. 25, according to Wall Street Journal. The Miami Heat and New York Knicks are among the teams that will sell these jerseys which the players will also sport during their Christmas Day games.
Chris Grancio — head of global basketball sports marketing at Adidas — said that fans want to wear authentic NBA products but tank tops are not easy to wear. The company and the league are responding to this by releasing the short-sleeved jerseys which will sell for $110 apiece.
