‘The Noise’: Fred Durst Developing One-Hour TV Drama for The CW

The show will be based off of Durst's life

Fred Durst, the frontman of Limp Bizkit, is developing a one-hour drama for The CW.

The new drama will be called The Noise and it will be based off of Durst’s life. The show is set to tell the story of a young artist that leaves a violent home in the 1990′s and creates a popular band. This will be the second time that Durst has used his own experiences to help with the creation of a show. Durst worked with CBS (CBS) to help them develop the sitcom Douchebag in 2011. Durst’s band is best know for their hits Nookie and Rollin. The band recently worked together with Lil’ Wayne on the song Ready to Go and it is expected to release its next album in January 2014, reports E!

Durst will serve as the co-executive producer of the show’s script, which is being written by Miles Feld, reports Rolling Stone.
