PHOTO: Reddit Photo Reveals What a McDonald’s McRib REALLY Looks Like

A shocking picture of an uncooked McRib from McDonald’s (MCD[1]) has been circling the web and many are alarmed by the pale appearance of it.

A Reddit user posted the picture[2] on a subreddit with the title “My buddy works at McDonald’s and sent me this photo of raw McRib meat.” Social media exploded after the picture of the frozen patty came out.

Twitter user @JoeDeSalazar says it’s “so disgusting” and @PatriklanPolk finds it “GROSS: I used to love these sandwiches until I read how they make ‘em.”

The fast food item is a rib patty that contains 450 calories, 24 grams of fat, 75 mg of cholesterol and a grainy, white appearance that makes it look more like a Styrofoam product than meat.

The McRib is only available for a limited time in select McDonald’s stores around the globe.
