The flight, which was heading from San Francisco, Calif. to San Antonio, Texas, was diverted to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The flight landed at the airport at 4:45 p.m. and the plane was evacuated. Bomb squads and police dogs searched the plane and the luggage, but they didn’t find anything dangerous. The plane was left in a secluded part of the runway while the search was being conducted. Police also interviewed all of the passengers that were on the plane. There are no specific details about the security threat that caused the flight to be diverted. Passengers started to be screened and allowed back on the plane at 7:15 p.m. The diverted flight didn’t cause any additional delays at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, reports ABC News.
