SodaStream International (SODA[1]) has partnered up with Del Monte (FDP[2]) to produce and distribute fruit-flavored syrups.

The two companies will combine to create Del Monte-branded syrups of several flavors including Tropical, Caribbean and Orange. CEO of SodaStream Daniel Birnbaum said that they “are happy to join forces with Del Monte® and welcome such an iconic, global brand to the SodaStream family.”

Del Monte’s Vice-President of Food Operations Frans Van Melis echoed Birnbaum’s sentiments, saying that they “are delighted that our consumers will be able to experienSodaStream[3]ce our high-quality brand in a fun, new, innovative way.”

SodaStream is the world’s leading producer of home beverage carbonation systems and Del Monte is one of the leading producers of high-quality vegetables and fruits. The syrups will make their debut in Italy and the UK in the summer of 2014.
