Starbucks (SBUX) is testing a new service for travelers looking for a cup of coffee on the road.
The coffee giants have added a Starbucks cafe on a train this week after striking a partnership with Switzerland’s national rail line, according to brandchannel. The Swiss train is the only one of its kind but there could be more baristas serving the brand’s authentic coffee if it proves to be a successful venture.
The tiny Starbucks will make its debut on Thursday, Nov. 21 on a trip from Geneva Airport to St. Gallen in Switzerland. The train only has seating for 50 but it has several luxury offerings including a stand-up bar, a lounge and watch dials that allow customers to order from their tables.
