VIDEO: Fireball Blazing Down Neighborhood Power Lines Goes Viral

A massive fireball flew through the power lines of a Montreal-area home and one of the residents was able to capture it all on film.

ABC News reports that the Griffiths family[1] saw a fireball blaze next to their home in Lachine on Friday after powerful winds caused the family to lose power. Huw Griffiths was unable to tape the incident but he had his camera ready in case a second one came along. And sure enough, it did.

Huw taped the fireball and put the video on YouTube where the video has garnered close to 3 million views. No one has been able to accurately describe the phenomenon yet but Huw describes it as being “a surge, it was literally like a fireball, it’s the only way I can describe it.”

You can watch the shocking video here[2].
