A trip to Disney (DIS[1]) is the ideal family vacation for many and now it is also the permanent residence of some.

Disney World now has Golden Oak[2] — a gated community where homeowners can live on Disney property. The Lake Buena Vista property is 980 acres of land reserved for those willing to shell out anywhere between $1.7 million and $7 million for one of the 450 homes that the company is planning on building there.

Owning a home in the fantasy wonderland comes with a number of perks including park passes, door-to-door transportation and an exclusive clubhouse with a restaurant and concierge. Many have started buying their Disney World vacation home already but there are some who have made it their permanent residence.Disney[3]

There are even some homes that are Disney-themed with Mickey-shaped swimming pools and hidden Mickeys located all over the house.
