My 20-Stock 2014 Buy List Is Right Here

by Ed Elfenbein | December 20, 2013 9:56 am

Every year I come out with a list of stocks 20 that I plan on buying for the coming year. Those stocks make up my “Buy List” for the year. As an example, here is the updated status of my 2013 Buy List[1].

Here’s how it works:  I assume the Buy List is equally weighted among the 20 stocks. The “buy price” for each stock will be the closing price of the stock as of December 31, 2013. The new Buy List goes into effect on January 2, 2014, the first day of trading of the new year.

At this point the 2014 Buy List is now locked and sealed, and I won’t be able to make any changes for the entire year.

My low-turnover, long-term strategy has beaten the market for seven years in a row. I’m very excited for 2014 and I am confident we’ll extend our streak.

And so without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here’s the 2014 Buy List for Crossing Wall Street:[2]
