ESPN (DIS) received much backlash after backing out on their decision to air a Christmas commercial but it appears that they reversed their decision again.
Fox News reports that the sports network will show the ad of a Catholic children’s hospital after saying that it wouldn’t. ESPN originally said no to the Christmas commercial because of its religious references, according to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation in Missouri which provides financial support for the hospital.
ESPN told them that the ad would not be aired on its channel but it reversed its decision soon after. The network can choose what ads to air because it’s a private entity and it appears that some executives are not big Christmas fans.
