The Toronto ice storm that swept the city over the weekend has left 230,000 without power.
The Canadian city has suffered major power outages and transit chaos due to the storm. The ice storm is the worst in recent history and it hit the city with drizzle and freezing rain for over 24 hours.
Utility company Toronto Hydro said that as many as 230,000 residents were left without power. They tweeted, “If you notice power flickering on and off, this means that crews are testing power lines in the area to find the location of the problem.”
