Woman Buys New iPad From Target Filled With Past User’s Info

The iPad was an unopened demo unit

   

A Canadian woman purchased what she thought was a brand new Apple (AAPL) iPad Air from Target (TGT) on Black Friday, only to find out that it had another person’s information on it.

She also looked at the box and found a label marking it as a demo product.  Crowley has said that she wants a new iPad Air that isn’t filled with the personal information of another person, reports CNET.

Target looked into the matter and discovered that Crowley had accidentally been sold an unopened demo unit that contained preloaded apps and information meant to give customers a look into what the tablet is capable of, reports MarketWatch.
