Apple (AAPL) is extending its marketing plan in China by opening up a shop on Alibaba’s Tmall as AAPL stock posted losses gains today.
The iPhone-seller will be selling products in China through the Tmall which is essentially an online store that sells products from big brands. The announcement comes only weeks after Apple announced that it has partnered up with China Mobile to sell its devices in China.
This move is another step forward in Apple’s plan to take over the computer and mobile industry in China considering that the company doesn’t sell its products through third-party retailers often. The Cupertino-based company is also planning on launching its tenth store in China later this year.
AAPL stock posted meager losses in early trading Thursday wish shares down 0.03%.
