Best Places to Retire in the US in 2014

Forbes ranks this year's top spots on the list

Best Places to Retire lists often change by year — as demographics change, tax rates change, or as communities change.

And 2014 is no different, with a whole new list of top cities in the US to retire.

The list, newly released by Forbes magazine, draws on overall cost of living (most are at or below the national average) and home prices as compared to national averages and general state tax climates for retirees.

Of course, the list looks at demographics and weather, with most in warm climates that retirees prefer.

Check out 2014’s Best Places to Retire in the US from Forbes. (Note that the list ranks 25, though we’ve selected our favorites.)
